CamaroSS has other ride profile(s):
I had a picture of the ultimate Camaro in my mind. I built it, and I am very happy with the car. I can drive it on the street anytime I wish, and do so at least 3 times a week. It has a full drag setup with BMR suspension and a Yank PE4400 torque converter. I try not to bench race, but I love to predict what the car will run, and shoot for that ET.

I just spun a rod bearing, so the car will receive a new motor. I am shooting to go 10.5 N/A, so I am going to try and achieve the power to accomplish that.

The Build Has Started: (Motor being built by Tom Tiberio @ Tiberio Performance)
Should be done by 5/25/07!

Block: Stock 2001 block washed, and honed.
Pistons: Diamond Pistons 2cc Valve Reliefs
Rods: Callies CompStar Connecting Rods with ARP 2000 Bolts
Crank: Stock turned, nodular iron.
Gaskets: Cometic LS1 MLS Head Gaskets .040"
Bearings: New GM
Heads: PRC Stage 2.5 5.3 CNC Cylinder Heads Milled to 59cc Chamber
Springs: PRC Dual Springs (.660 lift)
Cam: TRex V.2 (243/249 .610/.615 111.2 lsa)
Compression: 11.2:1

Cam-Only Performance:
11.255@120.38 1.529 60ft After the TRex cam, but in some crummy heat, the motor was letting go and I was never able to repeat or beat that mph, and I found out the motor was letting go. Now I have spun a rod bearing, but I was able to back this up with 7 11.25 pases, so I feel it is safe to say the car was consistent.

I was able to go 7.078 @ 97.00 1.508 60ft in a good DA at a local 1/8 miles, so I know it had an 11.1 or quicker in it while it was still holding together.

Sweet ride. I love it. I can't wait to start modding out my 2000 SS. Mine is very similar to yours of course stock with SLP options.
