I bought it ten years ago for $1200 bucks with the 350/th350 from the junkyard. It drove and ran like it too. I immediately transferred my 383/th350 from my 73 Impala. The 383 has Edelbrock Victor Jr heads, Comp XE288HR cam, 9.87:1 compr, Edelbrock RPM intake, Holley 750 DP, MSD 6AL, Hedman Hedders, 2 1/2 inch exhaust with Flowtech Terminator muffs. Over the years changed a lot of stuff. I changed it to a 4 speed four years ago. CPP disc brakes, 10 bolt Eaton posi 3.36 gears. Total new suspension, poly throughout, and lowered 1 1/2 inches. Just spray bombed it flat black.
Loud JVC HD stereo with sub and amps. Hey, I gotta hear it over the car.

I took it on the Anti-Tour this year and auto-crossed it. Here's a link to the fun.

Ah, the 65 Impala. To me it is the best looking car ever built. It still holds the record for most units ever sold. I am building up a 4 door sedan, it's named SSWANAB.

When Scott went to my house and checked out my 69 Cougar and I heard his car I was like WOW!! It looked tough all thru out the car. The sound was awsome. The engine was nice to. I see that he might have done something to the engine since I last saw it. The paint job is tuff to. I like it. Great job Scott. I hope I get to see your car again.
