Ole Reliable is ranked #3 on the world listing of High Mileage VOLVOs with in excess of 1,500,000 miles on her. The Shelby wheels have been on her since the late 60's. She is currently in "Dry Dock" undergoing a ground up restoration ... but after surviving over 40 Nova Scotia winters, she really finally needed some help. She is fully equipped with an IPD supplied suspension kit ... heavy duty sways front and back and competition springs which lower her stance about 2". The engine is a 2 liter OHV 4 cylinder bored .030" and running an ISKY Street Torque Camshaft. Carburetion is still handled by a pair of SU HS6 carbs and exhaust is a dual downpipe feeding into a 2" system feeding through Magnaflow 14" and a resonator. What kind of condition is your car going to be in by the time it gets to this age and mileage ??
