1969 Chevrolet Chevelle - 69velle350

My chevelle is a 1969 malibu that started out as a 6cyl car. My brother and father both helped in putting the car together. My dad painted the car I did the body work as it was pretty rotted out. I was a welder at the time and did all the patch work myself.It was in need of new quarters so skins were welded into place as well as patching the front fenders. My brother and I built the 350CID engine we put new pistons and rings with 12-2 to 1 pistons from summit this was able to be done because the motor only had about 3000 miles on it when I got it this enabled me to put in new bearings and put the new pistons and rings in then put on a set of Elderbroc alm heads. This sent the car into the mid 12's first time out we then with some tuning we got the car into teh 12:20 at 112MPH it ran a best time of 11:80 and it backed it up with an 11:85 but it has not done that since that night The air was really good that night. It runs consistent 12:20's.
