One of Hot Bodz and Custom Rods current shop projects is this 1956 Chevy pickup truck; Jeff and the guys have taken a 1991 Chevy step side box and made modifications to fit them together. It has a 350 small block Chevy engine with a turbo 350 transmission. We powder coated the complete chassis, which has a Volarie front suspension and rear end, with a coil over rear suspension. When it’s completed it will have power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. The wheels and tires are from Coy’s Custom, 20” rears and 18” front.
