I put a 400 horse,409 in my 55 chevy when in high school in 1971 & wanted to re-create that car. Present ride is a 409 truck block, Edelbrock aluminum heads, 9/1 compression, 700r4 & ford 9 inch rear.  My wife Carol & I did all the work on the car ourselves. Taking it to the track in the spring.

IMO... the 55,56 and 57 had a special look when that perfect stance was accomplished.  Your five five has that special look, it sets just right. You and the Mrs. have a real beauty. Nice job !!
