This is actually Ken Blake's ride that I was given the opportunity to take care of after his passing. It is a factory 426 4spd car that we made into a racecar back in the 80's-90's. After getting tired of the ET racing thing, he decided to return it to the streets with mini tubs and a 4 spd. He passed during the minitub process and I was able to receive the car from his Dad and finish what we had started. I even worked a deal with a close friend to receive the last race motor he built but had to sell for financal reasons. It has 12 1/2 to 1 (race gas only)comp and aluminum heads with a ".650" solid cam with a loud milodon gear drive. After many years of saving money and collecting parts, it's back on the road and the track. We were building it to be a "universal" car meaning we can run it with leaf springs (moved in to the frame)and shocks for the street, but in about 4 hr's swap to a bolt-in coil over shock mount with ladder bars for racing with the 727 w/trans brake. I'm still finishing the interior with light weight van seats, but I can take the bolt-in 6 point roll bar out and still put the rear seat back in for the kids. They love the ride's to school. It has 3 1/2" exhaust with flowmasters so there friends love it also. The car has plenty of battle scars still, but I don't feel it would be right to change anything from the way he owned it. The car is very popular wherever we take it, and it seems someone always remembers Ken from it. We just want people to enjoy it as much as we do. I was fortunate enough to have a son after his passing that we named Kenneth and he can't wait to turn of age - he's 12 now - to receive the keys (ha-ha if he earns them) as the car does have his name on the door.

I am a good friend of the family who owns this car and let me tell you, this car is single handedly responsible for me starting my own dodge prostreet project. I was only obout 18 when I first heard this beast fire up and I couldn't believe how radical it sounded. I had grown up a mopar guy but this was all new to me, this thing is seriously cool. It took a while but eventually I was invited to go for a ride and just like that all my past mopar experiences where blown away, I think it took a week for me to quit smiling. VERY AWESOME CAR
