I love to drive along in 1st gear and at about 3krpm nail it. Of course the other three gears are just as much fun, but things happen a lot faster in those gears. I've added a ford 8.8 to the rear with 4.10s and limited slip. The american 200s wheels are true vintage. I remember watchin 2-lane blacktop a long time ago and really liking it. I've been playing with this car for the last 8 years and I finally put plates and insurance on it this year. I pulled the 401 engine from a j20 in ohio and it sat in the back of my parents garage for 6 years before I lunched the 360 that I had built for it in '02. The 401 received forged 11.5:1 forged sealed power slugs, clevite 77s, an sfi approved balancer thats real shiny, and a full balance. The heads have chevy 11/32nd valves in the stock size of 2.08 and 1.65, with mild port work. A torker intake with a 750 double pumper top it off.
I grin everytime I drive it.
