1969 Mercury Cougar - quickerkitty

1969 Pro Street Mercury Cougar , full race chassis engineering frame (professionally built by Ernie MacDaniels race cars in Davie Florida), moly cage,1972 H.O. 351 C 4v motor (professionally built by Redline Automotive also in Davie ,Florida), roush intake, 750 cfm Dominator carb , steel factory 4V quench heads ,Huge  solid cam , harland sharpe roller rockers,CSR water pump and starter ,big tube headers,3 1/2" exhaust with dyno max Bullets, and X pipe , 9" w/brace, ladder bars , strange coil overs front and back ,33 x 21.5 Mickey Thompson tires 15X 16 Convo pro's, 4:88 gears, wilwood 4 piston composite caliper disc brakes on all 4 wheels, Corvette Turbo 400 with a JW ultra bell and flywheel, Glass hood with a 6" harwwod cowl scoop , Hurst Quarter stick , line lock fuel cell, Holley Blue pump  , We still have to go to the chassis dyno to see what Horsepower and Torque the car is putting down to the ground.
What a blast to drive , this car rips !!!!
In case you are wondering ,the nickname (Bob 9")came from me always bringing Ford 9 " center chunks to Redline Auto to change gears for me , so that neded up being the joke of the day and my nickname as well !
My Dad bought this car back in 1976 and he gave it to me in 1982 , I've owned it ever since . Which means it has been in my family for over 33 years !!!
It will be finished up in the next few mos. and I'll be sure to get you some pics , hopefully since there aren't ever any 69 pro street Cougars in you magazine I'll have a good chance of getting in !
