This is a picture of my 1991 GT. I've owned the car since 1994 and I bought it from the second owner with 43000 miles. The car was in near perfect condition and remained that way for several years. I continually did modifications to it as time went on in the order of bolt ons and suspension mods to make the 1/8th mile a little shorter. In 2006 I decided to try and restore it and switch gears from a street/ strip performer to a show and shine ride with a little muscle under the hood. I had a major accident with a 10 point buck one evening in 2004 and the car was looking worse for the wear!!! My father ran a garage and junk yard before retiring in 2003, so we ran it in the garage and started in on the engine work. We came across a used 351 out of an '85 F-150 and tore it down, bored it 30 over, put in a Comp cams Xtreme Energy XR274h cam, the Trick Flow Street Heat upper from my old 306 and a new 351 base, new 24 lb injectors, and a set of port matched SVO TurboSwirl Y303 Aluminum heads that have since been replaced with AFR 185's. Exhaust was handled by a set of 351 specific BBK shorty headers, a pacesetter X-pipe, and Flowmaster American Thunder 40 series cat back. I converted from an AOD to World Class T-5, left the 3.27 gears out back, and swapped over to a five lug set up using SN-95 spindles and ranger axles. Polished aluminum Bullitt rims wrapped in 205/40/17 Continental rubber on all four corners puts the power to the pavement.
