Just completed my 69 AMX restoration/project, getting ready for a trip to the chassis dyno and the out to the drag strip after that.
I began the restoration complete way back in 1992 when I bought the car - eng/trans/body for street/strip/show - all work with the exception of boring the cylinders (.060 over) and balancing the rotating assembly I completed myself. I have been a tech for 25+ years and now finally get to enjoy all my hard work.
I thank all the "masters" that instructed and showed me the way, carcraft mag has been on my coffee table as long as I can remember and has been a great source of info. I aspired to make this AMX one of the ones that leave a lasting impression of what the car was meant to be - not underestimated.
