Total investment in this car is $3500!!!!! Seriously, car was purchased last fall off of craigslist for $2800. I sold the cheesy tires/rims, Demon Carb, and sub/amp out of the trunk netting about $600. I found tires/rims at a swap meet for $400, Holley carb on ebay for $140, Tear Drop hood was a splurge for $500, and paint for $100. I would stack this car up against any $3500 car. Before I purchase it, the motor was rebuilt with aluminum intake, aluminum radiator, petronix ignition, new dual exhaust, and was recently painted. Car runs great, and turns heads and gets "thumbs up" where ever she goes. I wish CC would run articles about cars like this!
