My 70 Camaro started out as a 350 4 speed car. I bought it out of a barn  over 17 years ago. Car had been sitting in a barn since 81 with a busted crank. It started out with acid dipping and media blasting, one thing lead to another. Floor boards and trunk floors were replaced then car went up on rotisserie for extensive metal massaging on body and underside. At this point  I knew it was going to be more than the cruise in F body I had planned on throwing together. I told my son at that point we would build a car worthy of being in a magazine. 15 years later it made its first show. Car has a ZZ 502 with Hot cam & lifter kit. Hooker long tube headers and 3" stainless, tig welded exhaust make heads turn in traffic  Aeromotive fuel pump is in the tank pushing fuel thru hand bent 1/2" fuel supply and return lines. TKO 6 speed trans with hydraulic clutch. Moser 12 bolt with trutrac posi. Wilwood disc brakes on all 4 corners, 6 piston up front. Vintage air with front runner serpentine belt set up. Hotchkis TVS suspension with 2" drop, Caltracs controlling traction issues. Boze Speedster wheels and BFG KDW's tucked under the fenders. Paint is Viper yellow with Charcoal gray stripe, yellow paint is over 10 years old. Interior is all custom black high quality leather over modified Pontiac seats, Fiberglass door panels and interior panels with yellow stitching. Auto meter gauges and Clairion audio stuff along witness power windows and locks give modern touch. All exterior lights are LED, front lights are Amber and flip to white strobe for turn signals. Tail lights are billet with LED lights, all 4 are tail, brake and backup lights. Turn signal and brake lights are sequential. My wife named the car, she said the car and I are reliving our Glory Days. Car is street driven to local shows and cruising in's. Planning to attend Car Craft Summer Nationals in July.
